Author Chat hosted by Bookstore1, Sarasota

Bookstore1 is hosting this first chat about THE PALMETTO BOOK less than a month after its release on March 16th. I’ll read a few excerpts, but more importantly feature some of the unique Sarasota connections found in the book and talk about my personal connection to this paradoxical plant.

I’m encouraging people to patronize their local independent booksellers, and the one I head to is Sarasota1, which is on the corner of PALM and Main in downtown Sarasota. Bookstore1 would be happy to order a copy for you, which you could pick up and read before the chat. Head to the Bookstore1 website to look for upcoming events where you can RSVP.

The author chat is free, but the hosts are suggesting a seven dollar contribution to defray the cost of hosting.
